Republic day is celebrated on Jan 26th it's a special day for every Indian citizen where India's constitution came into conclusion on 1950 & making our country a sovereign republic . on this day we want to remember our freedom fighters and celebrate the values of justice, liberty and equality.
Story behind Republic Day!
Before 1950, India was ruled by the Government of India Act,1935, law given by British. then in 1950, Jan 26 Dr. B.R. Ambedkar took leadership for so much research for a long time and crafted the Indian constitution then India adopted its own constitution and became a Democratic Nation.
This day also known as "Purna Swaraj" announced in 1930, when Indian's decided to fought for independence from British rule.
Republic Day 2025 best part :
India celebrating 76th Republic Day, THEME:- "Swarnim Bharat- Virasat aur Vikas" means Golden India- Heritage and Development. It focus on culture and progress in various fields in India.
The grand parade at Kartavya Path (Rajpath) in New Delhi is the best part of the day. Here you can see:
- Military Marches: Air force, Navy, Indian Army shows their strength.
- Cultural Tableaux: States will display colorful floats showing their unique traditions and history.
- Air Shows: Look out for jaw-dropping stunts by the Indian Air Force.
- Dance Performances: School children and artists will perform traditional dances.
The President of India will inaugurate the parade by hoisting the National Flag and addressing the people.
